Where to get the Premiere Pro subtitle file

Text panel → Captions → ... → Export → Export to SRT file (untick 'include styling' for a clean file).

How to use the translated file

Text panel → Captions → Create captions from file → choose the translated SRT → pick the caption format (subtitle) and track. Apply your caption style preset, then export with 'burn in' or as a sidecar file.

Tip

Premiere splits cues by line length when transcribing; translated text can be longer. SubFlip keeps lines under ~42 characters so the imported track does not need re-flowing.
