Where to get the TikTok subtitle file

Export the SRT from CapCut (Captions → Export), Premiere, DaVinci or any auto-caption tool you used for the original. If you only have the in-app auto captions, re-run captions in CapCut to get a file.

How to use the translated file

Import the translated SRT into CapCut (Text → Captions → Import) or your editor, style it, export the video, and post it as a separate upload for that language or use it for a duet/stitch version.

Tip

Vertical video needs short lines: pick the casual register and keep CJK lines under 15–18 characters. Translate into 3–5 languages in one go and export one video per language for separate accounts or regions.

Questions

Can TikTok show a subtitle file?
No. Captions must be burned in or auto-generated in-app. Translate the file, then burn it in.
Which format does CapCut import?
SRT. VTT and SBV can be converted to SRT with the free converter first.
Lines are too long on mobile.
Use the casual register and, for CJK targets, the converter's line limits; SubFlip keeps lines short by default.
