Where to get the Zoom recordings subtitle file

Zoom web → Recordings → the meeting → download 'Audio Transcript' (.vtt). Edit obvious mishears in the Zoom transcript editor before translating.

How to use the translated file

Attach the translated .vtt to the recording where you publish it (Vimeo, YouTube, SharePoint/Stream, your LMS) or ship it with the MP4 for players like VLC.

Tip

Meeting transcripts have speaker names inside cues — the translator keeps them. Choose the formal register for corporate content and add product names to the glossary.

Is the Zoom VTT format standard?
Yes, it is plain WebVTT with speaker names in the cue text; it translates and re-uploads anywhere VTT is accepted.
Are recordings uploaded?
No. Only the VTT text is parsed in your browser; the video never touches SubFlip.
Can I get a translated transcript document?
Translate the VTT, then use the free subtitle-to-text tool to export a plain transcript.
