Where to get the Podcasts & video podcasts subtitle file
Export the transcript from your transcription tool (Descript, Riverside, Podcastle, Otter) as SRT or VTT. Apple Podcasts and Spotify transcripts are generated on their side and cannot be exported.
How to use the translated file
Upload the translated file as a subtitle track on the YouTube/Spotify video version, attach it to the episode page, or convert it to plain text with the free tool for show notes in that language.
Tip
Podcast cues are long (speech-paced). Choose the neutral register; add host and guest names to the glossary. A 60-minute episode is roughly 900 cues, so one credit per language.
